Priyanka Chopra gets upset over being addressed as Nick Jonas’ wife

Priyanka Chopra Jonas seemed extremely upset when she was addressed as Nick Jonas’ wife in a published news article. Priyanka lashed out at the news article asking how this can happen to women even today. The actress took to her Instagram stories and shared screenshots of the news article and questioned if she should add her IMDb link to her bio.

Priyanka is currently promoting her Hollywood film The Matrix Resurrections. The article shared by Priyanka quoted her speaking on Good Morning America about her co-star Keanu Reeves. The article read: “The wife of Nick Jonas shared…”

Priyanka in the Insta stories said: “Very interesting that I’m promoting one of the most iconic film franchises of all time, and I’m still referenced as ‘the wife of…’.” She mentioned her husband Nick Jonas and added: “Please explain how this still happens to women? Should I add my IMDb link to my bio?”

The Matrix Resurrections’ also stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Neil Patrick Harris, Jonathan Groff, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II among others. The film is scheduled to release in the theaters on December 22.
