Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan are in talks for Imtiaz Ali’s next romantic film

Ever since Sara Ali Khan hinted at wanting to date Kartik Aaryan on Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan, all eyes have been on the two. In fact, Sara’s Simmba co-star Ranveer Singh played cupid at an event and introduced the two. Post that, the twosome has been spotted at parties and even attending a few dos’ together. Now, we do not know where they stand romantically, but we do know that the two are being considered for a film to be directed by Imtiaz Ali. Buzz is that the fresh pair is in talks to play the leads in a film that may be titled Love Aaj Kal 2.
An insider says, “Sara is in talks with the makers for the film. They are planning to cast the fresh pair together as they feel they will really look good on screen.” As for the genre, the insider adds, “It will be a romantic film.” Are you excited about seeing the jodi on the big screen together? Meanwhile, Sara has signed her next post the superhit Simmba. The actress has been signed on by David Dhawan opposite Varun Dhawan in the remake of Coolie No 1. Buzz is that she is also being considered for Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 3. However, since her dates are committed to Coolie No 1, she may have to consider taking up the action film. As for Kartik, he has been finalised to reprise Sanjeev Kumar’s role in the remake of Pati, Patni Aur Woh that also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Ananya Panday. Besides this, he is also busy doing up his new bachelor pad in upscale Juhu, where he will be in Sonam K Ahuja’s neighbourhood.
