Director David Dhawan and producer Vasu Bhagnani is a hit filmmaker jodi that has given Bollywood many superhit films together including the No 1 series – Coolie No 1, Hero No 1and Biwi No 1, among others. Today (July 3) marks the completion of 25 years of their hit partnership. It was withCoolie No 1 when the partnership really began. While the duo celebrates their silver jubilee, the two are all set to collaborate one more time and incidentally, it is with the remake of their own hit Coolie No 1 with Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the leads.
It was recently that Varun announced the remake of his father’s directorial hit Coolie No 1 and had the fans excited. But turns out that there’s more than one reasons to celebrate the film, as the duo’s association comes a full circle with them working together exactly 25 years later for the remake of their own first film together.
