A coveted host, a charming VJ and an astute actress, Sarah Jane Dias has donned many hats through her career. The Angry Indian Goddesses star has been part of many popular projects, and now, her latest performance is fetching thunderous accolades! The second season of Made in Heaven has received praise from all corners, and one performance that has captivated viewers is Sarah’s sensational turn in the season finale.

In Made In Heaven Season 2, Sarah played Julie Mendez, a sublime and successful woman with a partner ten years younger. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, a key highlight of the episode was Sarah’s heartwarming speech on self-love that set social media ablaze.

Commenting on her future projects, Sarah added, “As a performer, I’m flattered that diverse roles are coming my way. This means that Directors have faith in my ability to play parts in different genres. The Freelancer is a gritty action thriller and thus completely different from Made in Heaven. I also have an exciting part coming up as a cop. And more releases scheduled on the acting and Mental advocacy front.”

Talking about the positive reactions, Sarah said, “Playing Julie Mendez and telling her story was a one-of-a-kind opportunity. It is truly rewarding as an actor to receive feedback from audiences, particularly women, saying how moved they were with my performance and how deeply they resonated with the dialogues. I received messages like, “Your performance brought me to tears”. The Made in Heaven franchise is hugely successful and thus being a part of it was a no brainier choice for me. I loved that every single individual I worked with at Tiger Baby has the same attention to detail as Reema and Zoya do. And when I worked with them, I felt like I was a part of a family. Like when I did my first film with Excel.”

With upcoming web series The Freelancer and other exciting announcements in the pipeline, the actress has many more surprises in store! From being the leading video jockey to an actor, Sarah has hustled to the top no matter what the field. With an impressive array of releases lined up, fans won’t have to wait too long to get their dose of Sarah again!
