Sandeep added, “I believe a guru plays a crucial role in shaping an individual’s life. In my case after FTII, Ram Madhvani, Ashutosh Gowariker, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra, Vishal Bharadwaj, Anand .L. Rai, Rajkumar Hirani and Martin Scorsese have been instrumental in shaping my cinematic vision. They are my textbooks, I refer to their astonishing works whenever in a fix.”
