While fans didn’t like the last season of Game Of Thrones very much,  and now HBO’s submission for the Emmy nominations has further left the show’s fans appalled.

As per reports, season eight’s only episodes ‘Winterfell and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ had been completely overlooked in the writing and directing categories. HBO submitted Miguel Sapochnik’s name for the GOT S8’s The Long Night, David Nutter for The Last of the Starks. While DB Weiss and David Benioff were in the nomination for The Iron Throne in the best directing category. These were the worst rated episodes of the show’s history.

As per foreign reports, in the technical categories, HBO submitted cinematographer Fabian Wagner for The Long Night and David Franco for The Last of the Starks. And Jonathan Freeman for The Iron Throne. The second last episode, The Bells, had been put into contention for Art Direction, Visual Effects, and Costuming, and the Hair and Makeup category. As a whole, the show will compete for the top award in the Best Drama Series. And not just that, but for the Main Title Design, Casting, Editing, Stunt Coordination, Music, and Sound Mixing categories.

Actors such as Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke, Alfie Allen, Pilou Asbæk, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage, Richard Dormer, Gwendoline Christie, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, and Carice van Houten have self-submitted for the accolades.
