“It’s an honour and privilege to be working with such a cinema legend”: Prateik Babbar on working with Shabana Azmi

Actor Prateik Babbar is one of the versatile actors of our times. He has proven it time and again with his onscreen presence. Recently Veteran actor Shabana Azmi announced her next film with the actor, and she got emotional as she opened up on always looking forward to working with him.

The duo will be seen in Vikas Khanna’s Imaginary Rain. Recently in an interview the veteran actress revealed getting emotional, she said, “Yes, we had a reading on Thursday. Prateik is a spitting image of his mother. The resemblance is eerie. I was swept back in time. I am looking forward to start shooting with Prateik.”

Now speaking on same Prateik extended his heartfelt gratitude towards working with her. He shared, “It was inevitable.. shabana maam has always been very encouraging throughout my career.. bumping into each other I’ve often expressed my wish to work with her.. i was always very hopeful.. & here we are.. it’s an honour & a privilege to be working with such a cinema legend.. life comes full circle in unexpected and beautiful ways.”

Prateik Babbar and Shabana Azmi will be seen in Imaginary Rain, directed by ‘Michelin Star’ chef and filmmaker Vikas Khanna.
