Kalank release:
Karan Johar’s dream project and magnum opus Kalank saw its release on Wednesday and had a huge buzz around. The grand, multi-starrer film created a huge stir and the release was a big affair. The film now stands on a collection of Rs 54.60 crore. Everything depends on the Sunday, and we will see what the first week churns out for the film.
Student of The Year 2:
The Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Ananya Panday starrer is the sequel to hit high school drama, and this time, is helmed by Punit Malhotra. The film was in news since a very long time, and we finally got to see the trailer of the film this week. The first song The Jawaani Song also came out, and received mixed reactions.
Ajay Devgn and Tanushree Dutta:
The film De De Pyaar De was a happy ride for Ajay Devgn until Tanushree Dutta wrote an open letter and criticised the actor and the filmmakers, for working with Alok Nath who was outed in the huge #MeToo controversy and accused of rape and sexual harassment. Later, Ajay in a statement cleared the allegations and also explained his reasons for not replacing Alok Nath in the film.
Vicky Kaushal injured:
Yes, this happened! The nation’s current heartthrob was shooting in Gujarat for Bhanu Pratap Singh’s horror film, where he had an accident when a door fell on him and he fractured his cheek bone. The actor had to get 13 stitches, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
