While several celebs and B-Towners took to Twitter and other social media to express anger over yesterday’s (February 14) Pulwama attack that saw 37 CRPF army personnel martyred in a terrorist suicide attack, Kangana Ranaut too expressed her solidarity. The actress has called off the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi success bash that she was to host tomorrow (February 16). Kangana had organised the party for her close friends to celebrate the success of her latest film that is inching towards the Rs 100 crore club. The actress was hosting the bash at her Khar residence. However, following the horrific Pulwama incident, the actress has called off the success bash indefinitely. The message sent out by Kangana’s spokesperson read: “Good morning, Tomorrow Saturday, 16th February ‘19 Manikarnika success party has been postponed due to the Pulwama attacks on our CRPF soliders. Once a new date has been fixed we shall let you know. Thank you.”

The horrific attack took place in Pulwama district, Kashmir on Thursday (February 14). As per reports, a suicide-bomber from the terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed rammed an explosive-laden SUV into a bus carrying CRPF personnel. When the actress learnt about it, she immediately cancelled all plans for the bash and informed her guests accordingly. A source says, “Kangana took no time in cancelling the Manikarnika success bash. She was looking forward to the bash as her directorial debut was no less a battle for her off screen too and she had organised everything personally. When she learnt of the attack, she didn’t think twice before calling off the party even though the invites had been sent out days earlier. She called up her industry friends and other close friends to inform them personally, while sending out the official text messages too.”

Meanwhile, the industry is strongly condemning the horrific cowardly attack in Pulwama district. From Salman Khan to Priyanka Chopra to Karan Johar, everyone took to Twitter expressing anger at the attack and offering prayers to the families of the soldiers martyred.
