Katrina Kaif to do a South film? Find out!

Katrina Kaif, who is currently one of the most bankable names in Bollywood, was a part of the South film industry in her initial years. She was first seen in the 2003 erotic heist film Boom and went on to do a Telugu film with actor Venkatesh Duggubatti titled Malliswari. Back in the day, she even starred in Malayalam films. The Bharat actress then shifted her focus to Bollywood and came into the limelight with her Salman Khan starrer film Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya. Since then there has been no looking back for the actress. Recently, she was asked if she would do a South film if offered and she gave a very apt answer for it.

Katrina firstly explained that doing South films is a task for her as she has a hard time to learn the language and understand everything. She further told that she feels learning Malayalam is much more difficult than learning Telugu. But fans, you don’t need to get upset! She assured that if she gets the right script and people to work with then she would definitely do a South film.

On the Bollywood front, Katrina is all set to entertain the audience with her next offering co-starring Salman Khan. The film, which is titled Bharat, marks Salman and Kat’s fifth outing together. The action drama is set to hit the theatres on June 5. She is also a part of Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi alongside Akshay Kumar.
