Little did 23-year-old actress Lee Yeol-eum know that she will land in trouble for a scene from her popular TV show Law of the Jungle. Lee will now face five years imprisonment for an underwater stunt she did inattentive of the consequences that it might bring for her.

Lee landed in a legal soup when she was shooting for the show at the Hat Chao Mai National Park in Thailand. As it was an underwater scene, she dove in to catch two giant clams. The clams got her in trouble and here’s why. After the episode broadcasted on June 30, the Thailand authorities filed a case against the actress for catching the clams which were listed as endangered species. The police refused to drop the criminal case against Lee Yeol-eum even after the television channel issued an apology that they were not aware of the law.
