99 Songs: Newbie Ehan Bhat to be the lead hero in A R Rahman’s film

Two weeks ago, AR Rahman announced that he had turned writer and producer for the upcoming film 99 songs. Since then all his fans have been looking forward to the project for obvious reasons. AR Rahman also said he would be introducing fresh faces but who knew the lead actor of his film would slowly turn into a heartthrob.

Ehan Bhat, who started out as a model, had worked in several advertisements before Rahman chose him to play the lead in his film. The Jai Ho singer took to Twitter and shared the news saying, “Introducing the talented @itsEhanBhat who marks his debut as the lead of #99Songs. I hope you will shower him with as much love as I have received from you. Releasing worldwide in Hindi, Telugu & Tamil on 21st June 2019. @YM_Movies @offjiostudios @JioCinema @idealentin.”

Helmed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy and backed by AR Rahman’s Y.M Movies and Jio Studios, the romantic musical will feature newcomers Ehan Bhat, Edilsy Varghese, and Tenzin Dalha. 99 songs is about a young passionate love story with music as its soul.
