Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confirms her next Bollywood movie and here’s all you need to know

Not too long ago, there were reports doing the rounds that Aishwarya RaiBachchan will team up with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan for SarveshMewara’s next Gulab Jamun. But it is said that that the couple opted out of the film due to varied reasons. However, in a recent interview, Ash confessed that she has zeroed down her next film and that has obviously made our day. The Guru actress said that when it comes to announcing her future projects, she leaves it to prerogative of her directors and producers. But the blue-eyed beauty revealed that has indeed said yes to a wonderful script, idea and character.  And now she is just waiting for the filmmakers and producers to make the official announcement.

Talking about the mysterious project, Ash also said in the interview that the film will go on floors much later in the year. But hang on; there is more good news for Aishwarya fans that have waiting for her to grace the big screen. Reportedly, Mrs Bachchan has found an interesting true-life episode and will soon be hearing its script as well. So if all goes well then Abhishek’s wifey may sign another film this year. That’s exciting, right? While we are happy that Ash is signing more films, let’s hope she does join hands with Abhishek for a film in the near future because that would just make everyone happy, including us.

Anyway, Aishwarya will next be seen in Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior opposite Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan. The period film will be directed by Om Raut. As for her hubby, Junior Bachchan has Anurag Basu’supcoming dark comedy alongside Sanya Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
