Ajay Devgn – Tabu had a gala time at the De De Pyaar De trailer launch and these pics are proof!

First things first, here’s wishing a very happy birthday to the Singham of Bollywood aka Ajay Devgn. He has given us one too many memorable performances and being in the industry for almost three decades, we have witnessed him in different avatars and so far it has been a wonderful journey not just for him but also for his fans. The actor has turned 50 today but unlike other celebs that zoom off to exotic destinations to celebrate their special day, Ajay did something different. The actor launched the trailer of his upcoming film De De Pyaar De at an event in Mumbai today. He also spent time interacting with his fans.

Ajay not only greeted all his fans but also the shutterbugs who had gathered around to meet him. What made the event more special was the fact that his fans and the media had a surprise in store for him. The talented actor had to unveil a huge board that had a poster of his well-known film Singham. The poster also had “The Roar of Singham” written on it. We found this gesture very sweet as Singham did create awareness amongst the masses through its hard-hitting story-telling. As for De De Pyaar De, in the film, Ajay plays the role of a divorcee who falls in love with 26-year-old Ayesha, played by Rakul Preet Singh. Tabu plays the role of Ajay’s ex-wife and together they have two kids who are Ayesha’s age.

The poster of the film was released recently in which Ajay recreated his iconic Phool Aur Kaante leg split. Also, fans are excited for the film as they will get to see Ajay and Tabu share screen space once again after Golmaal 4. Helmed by first time director Akiv Ali, the romantic comedy is produced by T-Series and Luv Films. It’s slated to release on May 17 this year.
