Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey to clash with THIS movie!

Akshay Kumar confirmed today (July 26) that he will be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala’s Bachchan Pandey next Christmas i.e. on December 25, 2020.Creating a buzz already with Akshay’s look, the film will have a major clash with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office which is releasing on the same date.

Both the films are a remake of other language movies. While Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha is a remake of Hollywood classicForrest Gump which starred Tom Hanks, Akshay’s Bachchan Pandey is a Hindi remake of Tamil film Veeram. Marking one of the biggest holiday clashes, Aamir’s movie will be directed by Advait Chauhan under the actor’s home production. Meanwhile Bachchan Pandey will be directed by Farhad Samji under Nadiadwala Grandsons banner.

The actors have never had a clash at the box office earlier and this would be the first time we will see them competing against each other. While Akshay has many other releases including Housefull 4, Mission Mangal, Good News and Laxmi Bomb, it would be Aamir’s only film releasing this year.
