Alaya F shares her learnings on Teacher’s Day

She marked her debut with Jawaani Jaaneman, actress Alaya F is one of the most promising newcomers in the industry. Being an avid learner, this Teacher’s day, Alaya has some insights to share about her teachers, learnings and determination.

When asked if there’s anything in particular that she learnt that heads to be firm and make ways everytime, Alaya shares, “I think the most important thing that I learned from them was just that if you really, really want to do something, nothing is impossible. Like, if you just work hard enough and put in the hours and put in the effort and just do everything over and over and over again until you get the outcome you want, like everything is possible. And, you know, they really put in a lot of hours and a lot of effort into me. And I put in a lot of hours and a lot of effort into them and classes and, you know, all of that. And I think together it just became a very, very positive, healthy learning environment.”

She adds, “You know, our classes would be scheduled for a certain number of hours, and we do it for many, many more hours, schedule classes with three times a week, and we’ll end up doing classes all seven days of the week. So I think it just became a lovely, lovely equation with these so fiercely believed in me that it gave me no choice but to really, really believe in myself. And I’m so grateful that they saw something in me and wanted to invest so much time and energy into me. And I think it just really, really just made me believe that anything is possible if we just work hard. And I think that instilled a very, very good work ethic and discipline in me”.

Recently, Alaya’s teacher Dimple Kotecha also opened up about the kind of a student she is and a lot more. The teacher shared, “I truly believe she has spoilt all her teachers with her consistency, effort and warmth! Her sheer determination to turn a goal into reality makes it an absolute pleasure to enable.”

She further added, “Her secret is hard work and that is indispensable! Dance may have been our language, but I’ve closely watched her evolve, come into her own, discover herself and literally fly.. which teacher wouldn’t be proud?”

Alaya is the kind of person who is dedicated to her craft and gives her all to whatever project she takes up. Her journey has been defined by the many trainings that she has taken and it shows in the confidence she holds.
