Alka Yagnik makes an interesting revelation about working with AR Rahman- read details

Recently, Alka Yagnik graced The Kapil Sharma Show along with fellow singers Himesh Reshammiya and Javed Ali. On the show, the musical trio not only gave the audiences a good laugh, but the singers also treated them to an amazing performance. Apart from that, Alka made an interesting revelation about her collaborations with ace music composer and singer AR Rahman.

The two singers, who teamed up for songs like Mehendi Hai Rachnewali from Zubeidaa and Mitawa from Lagaan. On the show, Alka went on to reveal that AR Rahman is known to work through the night, while Alka who is a morning person has a completely different style of functioning. And when she expressed her reservations about working late at night, the Oscar winner later agreed to work and record their songs in the morning.

Workwise, Alka Yagnik will be seen judging the reality show, Superstar Singers along with Javed Ali and Himesh Reshammiya. As for AR Rahman, the music maestro has produced a film titled 99 songs that stars Ehan Bhat and Edilsy Vargas. The film releases on July 26 this year. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates.
