Irrfan Khan has developed colon infection

Actor Irrfan Khan’s team confirms that the actor is indeed in hospital. As we have reported earlier in the day that actor has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital and is under observation. The actor’s official spokesperson issued a statement in the evening saying, “Yes it is true that Irrfan khan is admitted to ICU at Kokilaben in Mumbai because of a colon infection. We would keep everyone updated. He is under doctor’s observation. His strength and courage have helped him battle and fight so far and we are sure with his tremendous willpower and prayers of all his well wishers, he will recover soon”.

It maybe recalled here that actor is suffering from neuroendocrine cancer and has been undergoing treatment for it for nearly two years now. The actor has been staying away from the media but acted in Angrezi Medium in that period.
