Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s Luka Chuppi trailer has the industry and moviegoers excited; here’s why

The trailer of Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s Luka Chuppi was launched today. And besides the trailer getting massive hits on Day One itself, buzz is that the industry and movie-goers are excited about the film too. The trailer went viral minutes after its release and we must say that the numbers it has clocked in are impressive to say the least. And obviously most excited about the response are none other than the big screen’s newest jodi – Kartik and Kriti, whose fresh chemistry is the biggest draw for movie-goers. The story revolves around Kartik being the quintessential good boy every girl wants to take home to, while Kriti represents today’s youth who advocate gender equality and have their own ideologies. Kartik also recently shared the first poster from the movie that had also generated a lot of interest in the film and the trailer that finally was out today. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Luka Chuppi is said to release on March 1, when it will also clash with two other films that release on the same date – Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonchiriya, that stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar apart from Ashutosh Rana and Manoj Bajpayee. The other film to release on March 1 is the Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. While the clash will be interesting to see, industry insiders are hoping that the different genres that the films belong to will ensure a smooth run for all three.

Meanwhile, Kartik is enjoying the new year with as many as three films under his belt. So, besides, Luka Chuppi, the Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety actor also has the Pati Patni Aur Woh remake, where he will reprise the role of Sanjeev Kumar. Then there’s buzz of him signing the Imtiaz Ali’s sequel to Love Aaj Kal with Sara Ali Khan.
