Kartik Aaryan-Kriti Sanon’s Luka Chuppi sets a new record on the TRP chart, read details

Since 2018, Kartik Aaryan has been ruling hearts. While his films Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi went on to be blockbusters, he has now become the blue-eyed boy of the industry with some interesting projects in his kitty. Now that the actor has a huge fanbase, his latest film with Kriti Sanon, Luka Chuppi also went onto to fare well on the small screen.

When Luka Chuppi premiered on Star Gold on June 2, the film went on to record the second highest impressions on the TRP chart which were 9.4 million. It beat Rohit Shetty’s Simmba which had 7.8 million impressions. In a press statement, producer Dinesh Vijan said that “This is truly overwhelming! After the tremendous love for Stree, this seems surreal! Television today has abundant options, and it’s gratifying to know that the audiences have showered so much love on us. It strengthens our belief in backing good content.”

Workwise, Kartik Aaryan will be seen in Mudassar Aziz’s Patni Patni Aur Woh, co-starring Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon will star in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Panipat, alongside Arjun Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates.
