After an intimate pre-wedding bash, Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya, and actor-turned-businessman Vishagan Vanangamudi have tied the knot, culminating their secret courtship in conjugal bliss. The beautiful couple was seen revelling in the wedding festivities. They were all smiles and looked very happy, as the ceremony was celebrated in full swing. It seemed a love that was blessed from above.
Soundarya and Vishagan’s pre-wedding reception was held for only close friends and family. Everyone danced, including our favourite superhero Rajinikanth who was seen shaking a leg and getting in the groove for his daughter’s big day. They posed for the cameras and seemed happy for the bride and groom.

Soundarya is not an actor, unlike her father, but has directed and produced many South Indian films. Their pre-wedding ceremony begun with a small puja at Rajinikanth’s Poes Garden residence, and it started early on February 9. It was followed by the sangeet, mehndi and later, the haldi ceremony. Soundarya’s sister Aishwarya and her mother Latha, threw two different parties for the bride. The couple got engaged in 2018, but this was an intimate affair instead of a huge ceremony.
Soundarya was in the past, married to industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar, but she filed for a divorce in 2016, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. They have a son together named Ved Krishna. She recently also took to twitter to express her joy at her marriage to Vishagan.
