ROMEO AKBAR WALTER PUBLIC REVIEW

The spy story Romeo Akbar Walter, helmed by Robbie Grewal, and starring John Abraham, Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff and Sikandar Kher, released yesterday (April 5). Since its release, it has received rave reviews and while there were some negatives, the positives of the film will definitely make people go to the theatres and watch the film. After the release of the film, the audience was asked whether they enjoyed it and made them proud deshbhakts. Here are a few responses from them, and this is what they had to say about the film.

One person said, “Every Indian should watch this film. The acting and the content was good. Instead of telling only my friends, I’d tell the whole nation to watch. I’d give five stars.” Another said, “They have been doing something good for the nation. They have made a good film for the whole country. We got to learn something new. Definitely, five stars for the film because it is a really special film. There are these special men that go to Pakistan and put their lives at stake. The only weak point was that when they go to Pakistan, they aren’t valued enough, so it was hurtful.” The rest were also surprised to witness John in different avatars and also praised Mouni although she didn’t have much of a role to play in the film. People were also struck that the film was realistic and that it wasn’t very political. It also raises awareness about what is going on in India and is very convincing. Subtle and a must-watch, was what the public felt. While we revel in the positive public opinions, some nay-sayers said things like, “Not much expression and didn’t enjoy the film. The person next to me was snoring, so it just wasn’t worth a watch.”

RAW is a spy thriller that is set in the backdrop of the Indo-Pakistan war that took place in 1971 and based on true events.
