Shah Rukh Khan’s co-owned team Kolkata Knight Riders had been off to a great start when they won a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 24. Yesterday (April 5) Kolkata Knight Riders played against Royal Challengers Bangalore and KKR emerged victoriously. And though the credit goes to the entire team, this one person actually led KKR to victory. That is none other than Jamaican all-rounder Andre Russel who once again changed the course and saved KKR from the jaws of defeat. SRK who was super-impressed then is all the more in awe of Andre.
On seeing the team win, SRK took to Twitter to express his happiness saying, “And you guys in the Dugout who said game/set/& match……u may know your cricket but you don’t know @Russel12A!!! WOW, u CHAMPION. This calls for Wine my MuscleMan!” The match was held in M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. The man of the match that is Andre, scored as many as seven sixes. Prior to this, KKR surprised their fans by winning against Sunrisers Hyderabad and the man behind it was also Andre Russell. It was one of the most nail-biting and intense matches. So is it safe to say that Andre is the KKR superhero? What do you all think?
