Last Sunday, the city witnessed a fashion seminar when British Fashion entrepreneur Imran Amed hosted a panel with Deepika Padukone and designer Sabyasachi. The actress looked luminous in a bright yellow saree by Sabyasachi, and her beauty needs no introduction. While the panel discussed a lot of topics, they also touched the issue of same-sex marriages. The actress gave a heartfelt, candid reply  when asked about them, and below is all you need to know about the same.

Sabyasachi and his forever muse Deepika, sat down for a discussion in an enlightening session. Asked about her views on same-sex marriages, she said, “It feels strange to me that we even have to ask that question, and the fact that we need to address it. We should not even allow ourselves to even be in this place where somebody else dictates how and with whom you want to spend the rest of your lives with.” Apart from this, Deepika also spoke about her wedding and how big an event it had become. And the man who designed almost all of the couture for that fabulous wedding was also in there. Deepika revealed how Sabyasachi was the first person after her parents to know that she was getting married.
