Lok Sabha Election 2019: Allu Arjun, SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR cast their votes

The first phase of the supercharged Lok Sabha Election 2019 just began and it looks like it will be quite an action-packed election this time. More than 600 artists from creative spaces have urged the public to use their right and vote, in what looks like a very interesting election season. Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli were one of the first celebrities to cast their votes, leading the brigade from the front. Setting a great example for their fans and those keeping a track of their moves, they will surely inspire the youth and the public in general to exercise their basic right to vote.

The first phase of voting of the 17th Lok Sabha Elections commenced today, April 11, for 91 seats across 20 states, namely Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Telangana, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Lakshadweep and Andamans and the Nicobar Islands, and others.

Filmmaker, SS Rajamouli, also took to social media by sharing a picture of his inked finger in an attempt to urge people to get out there and vote. He captioned the post saying,“Half of my unit members left to their towns and villages to exercise their vote… Good… Do Vote… If you think no party/candidate makes a difference, make use of nota.. #VoteForIndia.”

Jr NTR and his wife Lakshmi Pranathi also carried out their duties as good citizens by standing in the queue and casting their votes. They too, like the others, shared photos of their inked finger in a post. Jr NTR captioned it, “We got inked! Did you? #GoandVote.”

Telugu actor Allu Arjun also took to social media, making an honest appeal to his fans to cast their votes. He posted a status saying, “Today is that 1 day which will decide how the next 1825 days should be. Pls cast your vote.”
