Aamir Khan has always been associated with things that are socially driven. Be it his PAANI foundation or his Sunday special talk-show Satyamev Jayate, Aamir has always urged his fans to be active participants in taking up their duties as responsible citizens. Keeping this deed intact, Aamir is now urging the people of the country to vote. He was recently elected as the National Icon of the Election Commission of India and is already taking up his role seriously.
The ECI shared the video saying, “Straight from the mouth of Mr Perfectionist! @aamir_khan, #ECI National Icon makes a passionate appeal to all Indians to #GoVote because every vote counts in democracy.” Aamir, without a doubt, has a huge fan following and the video went viral immediately. Now, it will be interesting to see how this impacts the voting this season.
