Mani Ratnam hospitalised following health scare!
Veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam was in Srinagar when he complained of pain in his chest and was brought to Delhi for treatment

Tamil filmmaker Mani Ratnam has been hospitalised due to health issues. According to reports, the veteran filmmaker was holidaying in Srinagar, when he complained of chest pain and was immediately flown down to Delhi for treatment.
His family had kept the matter under wrap from public. This is not the first time the filmmaker suffered from cardiac issues. In 2004, he suffered a heart attack on the sets of his directorialYuva. In 2015, he was again hospitalised due to cardiac problems. In 2018 there were rumours of him being admitted due to cardiac problems however, it later turned out that the director was up for a routine check-up.
Mani Ratnam is next working on Ponniyin Selvan, based on the novel by Amarar Kalki. The film got into trouble when the production house backed out from the project. This film would mark Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s fourth collaboration with the filmmaker.
