This Zee5 original film is the story of a young Punjabi girl Noor (Mandy Takhar), who is a happy-go-lucky girl, whose old widowed mother is worried that her daughter will not get married if she does not hasten to get married within three months, because of some major dosh in her janam kundali. A pundit informs her mother that Noor should be married by her next birthday, which is three months away, or she may end up without a husband.

The hilarious film with a social message underlining it sets out to narrate the story of Noor who decides to edit her matrimonial profile with her own bold pictures and description, when she does not get any response for her profile when she inserts her ad for a nice groom initially and hey presto, the modern, city girl image works in her favour and she manages to get the man of her choice not through the matrimonial web site but when she bumps into him accidentally and the guy Ekam (Dilpreet Dhillon) happens to be none other than her own boss’s son.

However, to her chagrin, her new image also creates chaos in her personal life, especially when the only son of a local Don (Hobby Dhaliwal) and his wife (Rupi Rupinder) also jumps into the fray and wants to marry her and literally fixes the marriage date at gunpoint. Sadly, just when you think the film will have a happy ending, Ekam, who has recently broken up with his fiancée is timid and cannot quite make up his mind and needs time to think. Meanwhile, the time is running out with the deadline approaching very fast and Noor needs to get married before that.

However, the script and the at times irritating screenplay all credited to Sunill Khosla leave a lot to be desired since there are several disappointing scenes which have been stretched and unwanted and hamper the scenes from proceeding. Like for example, the unintelligent and long opening sequence, which shows Noor waking up, brushing her teeth, making faces in the mirror, doing her exercises, having her tea, soaking in the atmosphere, getting dressed, putting on her make-up, playing with her hair and finally coming down to meet her mother for breakfast, as if she is a teenager who is dreaming about getting married to a prince charming! I found it illogical that Noor’s profile is blocked by the matrimonial site as her pictures are seen as being too risqué, especially in today’s modern times when regular and normal western attire is considered to be scandalous.

As far as performances go, while Mandy Takhar suits the role, Dilpreet Dhillon fails to impress. The rest of the cast just about must up while music by Gurmeet Singh, Gurmohh, J.S.L. Singh and Shamita Bhatkar is lilting and melodious though at times indeed very loud

To sum up, all said and done, the film is watchable and does not bore you because the production values are excellent and the message is not forced down your throat and Sunill Khosla proves that you cannot write him off as a writer-director
