Mumbai Saga: John Abraham, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty unite for Sanjay Gupta’s cop drama

There was hardly any development on Sanjay Gupta’s film Mumbai Saga ever since it was first announced in 2014. But recently CineBlitz had exclusively told you that Sanjay Gupta is planning to revive the story now. We even told you that John Abraham will be a part of this cop drama and we were absolutely right! Mumbai Saga has finally been announced and John Abraham unites with Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty for this cop drama.

The story will be set in the 1980s-’90s and will revolve around the incidents and all that went into transforming Bombay into Mumbai. This gangster-drama is an ensemble film and apart from Jackie, John and Suniel, it also stars, Emraan Hashmi, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy and Amole Gupte. The film will go on floors next month and is likely to release in 2020.

The film will be directed by Sanjay Gupta and is backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Gupta’s White Feather Films. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates and news.
