New poster of ‘Gulhar’ starring Bhargavi Chirmule unveiled with the date of release on Gudhi Padva

In the upcoming Marathi film ‘Gulhar’ which tries to give something different from the flow of the title itself, the audience will get to see a truly innovative and powerful story. The new poster of this movie, which has always been in the news for various reasons, was launched on the occasion of Gudhi Padva. May 6, 2022, the date of the release has also been announced. In ‘Gulhar’, the audience will get to see a new duo of Ravi Kale and Bhargavi Chiramule as the two leading actors.

Shantaram (Appa) Medage, Shivaji Bhintade, Anup Shinde, Abid Syed have produced the film ‘Gulhar’ under the banner of Ideal Venture. From the very beginning, there were indications that a different experiment was being done on the occasion of the movie ‘Gulhar’. Fulfilling all those expectations, Ravi Kale and Bhargavi Chiramule have come to the audience through a brand new poster. Ravi and Bhargavi have worked together for the first time on the occasion of this film and this is the first time they have teamed up. The credit for the duo goes to ‘Gulhar’ director Ramesh Sahebrao Chaudhary. In this film, Ravi plays the role of Giriju and their partner is Bhargavi in the role of Radhe.

The look of both Ravi and Bhargavi is quite different in ‘Gulhar’ which is a story based on a family from the Dhangar community. Bhargavi will be seen in a very different get-up, forehead filled with kunku, a traditional kathpadar sari, a blouse, green bangles, a nose ring, a pair of anklet, and a jodwi. Ravi, who has often played the role of don in Marathi as well as Hindi films, is in the role of a very ordinary person. Ravi is seen in the film with a feta on his head, a stick in his hand, forehead filled with turmeric, a garment (uparna) on his shoulders, a talisman around his neck, a shawl, a dhoti and a long beard.

The recently released poster depicts a family that is millions of kms away from progress and who feels happy even in adverse circumstances. The story of this film revolves around an 11 year old boy. Vinayak Poddar, Madhav Abhyankar, Suresh Vishwakarma, Kishor Chougule, Rukmini Sutar, Shivani Bavkar, Ganesh Kokate, Kapil Kadam, Pushpa Chaudhary, Shivaji Bhintade, Anup Shinde, Manjiri Yashwant, Swapnil Landge, Reshma Phadtare, Sachin Malwade, Devendra Vayal, Ganesh Shitole, etc. are the cast of this movie.

The film is written by Mohan Padwal and scripted and written by Sanjay Navgire. Composer Padmanabh Gaikwad has composed the music for the songs in the film. Vishal Patil is the choreographer while Kumar Dongre is the cinematographer and compiler. Background music by Kedar Divekar and sound design by Nikhil Lanjekar and Himanshu Ambekar.
