Joy Mukerjee’s son Sujoy Mukherjee bags coveted Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation award for his short film Zindagi Anmol Hai

The short film Zindagi Anmol Hai directed by the late actor Joy Mukerjee’s son Sujoy Mukherjee has till date won 34 awards all over the globe. The film boasts of Story & Screenplay by Sunil Kapoor, Sudhir Kapoor and Sujoy Mukherjee. The dialogues  have been written by Sunil Kapoor & Moti Sultanpuri.

The short film Zindagi Anmol Hai aptly drives home the pertinent message that we should realise the importance of being given a human life, paving the way to understand that we human beings have a particular purpose here on earth and despite life not always being a cozy bed of roses, one has to face the Ups and Downs of life with a broad smile.

When a young teenage girl faces things going awry in her life and is about to commit the ultimate sin of taking her own life away by committing suicide, she is reminded that this life Is hers to live, not to take it away. The Durga Puja sets were recreated by Sujoy Mukherjee himself  for a realistic experience of the divine occasion. The star cast of the short film consists of several talented artists like Shrishti Munka, Shreyas Porus Pardiwalla, Helen Fonseca, Prema Kiran and the last but not the least the child artist Joyneel Mukerji.
