The special preview of Expopedia’s Amalgamation 8 was an evening to watch out for, as the Cymroza Art Gallery located in the plush Breach Candy area, came alive with a vibrant display of over 70 paintings, sculptures, prints, and ceramics from 30 artists pan India. The gallery looked resplendent with a showcase of works from ace artists like SH Raza, Prakash Bal Joshi, Samir Mondal, Shashikant Dhotre, Paramesh Paul, Ratan Saha, Om Swami, Mahesh Anjarlekar, and many, many others.

The show was inaugurated by Chief Guest Sunnil Mehra, ex-Governor of Rotary Club of Mumbai Juhu, Guests of Honour Prakash Bal Joshi and Darshana Damle, in the presence of art connoisseurs Mr. Ajoykaant Ruia, Dr. Vijaypath Singhania and Sridhar Subramanian of the Rotary Club of Mumbai Juhu. Artists like Vishwa Sahni, Sonu Gupta, and Sanjukta Arun also graced the event and conveyed their best wishes to the participating artists. Host and curator Aparimita Sapru ensured everyone was at ease while the gallery resounded with conversations on Art over mocktails and sumptuous snacks!

Notably, a part of the proceeds from the sales will go towards a charity for The Rotary Club of Mumbai Juhu’s projects for the rehabilitation of intellectually disabled people and the prevention of child abuse awareness. Amalgamation 8 will continue its showcase at Cymroza Art Gallery in Breach Candy till 5th September 2022.
