Alia Bhatt opts for a simple look for the Gully Boy screening – view pics

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt came in for the screening of their upcoming film Gully Boy at this suburban studio last night (February 6) and by the looks of them smiling post the screening, we must say that the two seemed quite pleased with what they saw. The Zoya Akhtar film is inspired by the lives of real rappers Naezy and Divine and of what we’ve heard, Ranveer plays a character on the lines of Naezy in the film.

The two have been busy promoting the film these past days and last night it seemed like they really were content with what they had worked on. While Alia has been slaying it with each and every of her promotional looks during the dozen events lined up, she made for a pretty sight even in her rather simple avatar that she chose for the screening. The actress has been wowing the fashion quarters with her style experiments and has been getting a thumbs-up for all of her fashionable outings too. And not surprising, in absolute contrast is her co-star Ranveer who never disappoints to surprise us with his quirky fashion sense.

The actor recently found himself in a bit of a spot when he accidentally injured a fan at the Lakme Fashion Week. The actor had jumped into the crowd but ended up injuring a fan. Ranveer has since then apologised too for the unintentional harm. He seemed to be all for impressing his fans last night too and obliged them all by clicking pictures and striking a few poses. Doesn’t look like he would be keen on jumping into the crowd anytime soon! Alia, on the other hand, barely looked at the paps, choosing to make a quiet exit.
