Shah Rukh Khan gifted Aamir Khan a cool laptop, but what he did with it will surprise you

Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have been friends for a long time and are often spotted chilling together. Since SRK and Aamir have known each for years, it’s obvious that they have loads of funny and embarrassing stories to share. So recently when the actor attended Nasscom’s annual technology and leadership summit in Mumbai, he spoke about many things including technology. At the event, when he revealed to the audience that he is technologically challenged and not a tech-savvy person at all, it reminded him of a very particular incident that involved King Khan.

More than 20 years ago, Shah Rukh had bought a laptop for Aamir and though the latter kept the gift with him, he never actually used it. He said in the leadership summit, “Technology and me are so far remote. In 1996, Shah Rukh Khan and I were doing a show together in the USA and UK. Shah Rukh is very much into technology, even at that time, he was up-to-date. A new computer by Toshiba had come in the market that year. Shah Rukh insisted me to buy a laptop with him as well. After much convincing,I told him to get one for me as well. I brought that gifted laptop back to India.” But can you guess what happened to the laptop?

Well, Aamir further added, “I kept the laptop at my home and never used it. A few years later, my new manager enquired about the lying laptop and asked me if he could use it. I happily gave him the laptop only to find out that it had stopped working.” Lol, that’s actually funny, no? However, it would be interesting to know Shah Rukh has to say about this. Anyway, on the professional front, Aamir was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan which turned out to be a big dud at the box office.
