Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan: Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao reunite with Ayushmann Khurrana

Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta were one of the most-loved and adored on-screen couples of 2018 in the film Badhaai Ho. Turns out that we will get to see the two together again as they have been roped in to play pivotal parts in the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhanmarking a reunion for the trio and here is all you need to know about the same.

Neena and Gajraj will be collaborating with Ayushmann for the second time and if they play his parents it will be a second time for that too. The chemistry between the three had impressed audience and the critics last year in Badhaai Ho. Both the senior actors joining cast is only adding to the excitement and intrigue that the film has built. Produced by Aanand L Rai, the film is based on homosexuality and will be starring Ayushmann in the lead. There is no official announcement about which actor will be playing Ayushmann’s love interest. There were speculations that Ayushmann might romance Rajkummar Rao, but there is no confirmation.

Says producer Aanand L Rai, “With Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, we chose to explore a novel subject in an unusually unexpected setting. A unique story like this needed talents like Neenaji and Gajraj Rao and I’m so happy to have them onboard”.
