Siddharth Anand casts Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat for his next production

Siddharth Anand has been making headlines all of 2023 with the tremendous success of Pathaan, where he brought bollywood magic back on screen after pandemic. The ace director has become the most wanted man in the Indian film industry. He is currently shooting for his next project, ‘Fighter, where he is bringing the unprecedented duo of Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan on screen for the first time.

The movie, which will be a tentpole production for Marflix Pictures will be a direct-to-OTT release and now Jaideep Ahlawat has joined the film as the antagonist opposite Saif Ali Khan which has made it yet another casting coup from Siddharth Anand. Marflix Pictures is producing the Saif Ali Khan starrer for Netflix and the untitled movie will be directed Robbie Grewal.

Although there is not much news around this project, the news of Siddharth Anand and Saif Ali Khan coming together again has made waves in the industry. The duo last worked together on the blockbuster film Salaam Namaste, and since then Siddharth Anand’s trajectory has only gone upward with the back-to-back success of his movies, with the most recent ones being Bang Bang, WAR and Pathaan. In War, he brought Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff together for the first time, and the duo’s on-screen presence received immense appreciation from the fans and critics alike.

On the work front, Siddharth Anand is currently working on the much-awaited ‘Fighter’ which stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor.
