Sonakshi Sinha lashes out at BJP; says father Shatrughan Sinha didn’t get the respect he deserved

Sonakshi Sinha is one of the few leading actors who always speaks her mind, very much like her father Shatrughan Sinha, who is known for being honest and blunt. We have always seen her and her dad both being their frank selves. And so, when she was asked about her father’s decision to move from BJP to Congress, she didn’t shy away from taking on the question. In fact, she lashed out at BJP, saying that her father and several other politicians weren’t given the respect they deserved. Talking about Shatrughan Sinha’s political move ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, Sonakshi Sinha told the media at an award functions, “It is his decision.”

Sonakshi Sinha further added, “I feel that if you are not happy with the way things are going at a particular place, then surely, you should get in a change. That’s what he did. I hope with his new association with Congress, he’ll be able to do a lot of good work. Not feel suppressed.” The actress even mentioned how several leaders were treated without respect as the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 draws closer. As she revealed, “Being such a senior leader, having such a vast knowledge and being a party member from the very beginning, from the time of JP Narayanji, Atalji and Advaniji, my father has a lot of respect within the party (BJP). But I feel the entire group has not been given the respect they deserve.”
