SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment to work on a Netflix original film

Shah Rukh Khan has been killing it lately in the department of production with Badla, starring Taapsee Pannu and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead, turning out to be a critical and commercial success. Now with his latest venture, the Netflix series Bard of Blood starring Emraan Hashmi, sources are saying that his company has an original film lined up with Netflix as well!

Bard of Blood has just finished shooting and stars Emraan Hashmi in the title role of Kabir Anand. It is based off the fictional thriller novel of the same name by Bilal Siddiqi. The series also marks SRK’s first joint endeavour with Netflix and apparently isn’t his last. His production company is all set to start filming an original movie titled Class of ‘83 and will be starring B-town veteran, Bobby Deol. The plot and details of the film, as well as the extent of Deol’s role in the film, are yet to be confirmed. However, filming for the movie is supposed to begin at some point before the end of 2019.
