Star Trek based untitled series to release on THIS streaming giant

The series will take forward the journey of Jean-Luc Picard while it features on the digital platform

If you are a fan of Jean-Luc Picard’s Star trek then this will the most exciting news you read today. The untitled series around Star Trek is set to make its way on the streaming giant Amazon Prime and will be available in more than 200 countries and territories outside US and Canada.

Partnered with the CBS studios, Amazon Prime Video will release the series after 24 hours after the U.S. release. The new series features Sir Patrick Stewart who will reprise his role as the vulnerable Jean-Luc Picard. The series will follow the next chapter of his life. “There’s only one word that can begin to describe Sir Patrick Stewart as Starship Commander Jean-Luc Picard, and that’s ‘legendary,’” said series executive producer Alex Kurtzman. He further added that, “We are thrilled beyond measure to have him back in command, bringing the optimistic messages of Star Trek to audiences around the world.”

Alongside Stewart, the series will also star Alison Pill (The Newsroom), Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful), Isa Briones (American Crime Story: Versace), Santiago Cabrera (Salvation), Evan Evagora (Newcomer), and Michelle Hurd (Blindspot).
