Cricket World Cup fever is only getting stronger due to team India’s amazing performance.  And now another update is that the Blue jerseys of team India will be changed during the match with the England and the reason behind that is quite interesting. As both teams have blue coloured jerseys, team India will have to change its uniform due the International cricket council (ICC) new rule which states that two teams cannot wear the same colour jersey. Team India will now don the orange-blue jersey for their World Cup match against England.

England being the host nation was given the opportunity to continue wearing their blue jersey throughout the tournament whereas many colours options were given to BCCl and they chose the combination that looked the best to them. An official statement says that, all the ODI and Away Kit designs launched this year are inspired by the young new generation of India and the fearless spirit of the national teams, which sounds interesting. The release further added, “Similar to the recently launched ODI Kit, the away kit is designed to enhance dynamic movements and modern requirement of the sport and athletes. While the new engineered mesh and strategically placed sweat zones help enhanced breathability for the team on the field, new placket construction, the flex crest, garment cut angles and slash taping all add to making the new jersey lighter, more breathable and helps the athletes be agile on the field.”
