Teaser of Paresh Mokashi directed ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’ unveiled!

The team behind its production has many popular films like Harishchadrachi Factory, Elizabeth Ekadashi, Chi Sau Kaan Atmapamplet, Valvi to its credit.

A teaser of ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’, a most awaited Marathi film produced by Hiranygarbh Manoranjan and directed by ace director Paresh Mokashi was released recently. Dominated by the women in all spears of it, the film features a team of leading female actresses Mukta Barve, Namrata Sambherao, Sukanya Mone, Supriya Pathare, Saragna Sathe, Madhugandha Kulkarni, Sharmishtha Raut and child artist Mayra Waikul with more women hands in other responsibilities. The film is all set to release on May 1, 2024 the Maharashtra Day.

After teaser is getting an overwhelming response from the film lovers who are eagerly waiting for the release of the film. The teaser revolves around the theme of the film. It begins with the utterance, “While there is a woman behind every successful man, there is a maid behind every successful woman,” and goes on with the dialogues that take place between a maid and woman heading the household. The dialogues between the two are very entertaining and the one experienced every next door. They assure the patrons that ‘this film is going to be different’.

The maid, Ashatai-played by Namrata Sambherao, is taken for the task by her master- played by Mukta Barve- for talking on the phone in the teaser. She is scolded for reporting late to work. Replying to it, Ashatai attributes it to the delay to the bus and says, ‘There was an accident that took place on the road.’  The exchanges between the two are ably projected on the screen by talented Mukta and Namrata.

In another scene, Ashatai was scolded by her master by saying, “I had to throw the pumpkin to the dustbin because of you.” In her retaliation Ashatai says, “I am also a human and may forget things like you forgot your wallet the other day.” This offends the master lady who says, ‘Are you now going to compare yourself with me?’. In another scene in the teaser, the husband of the master lady says thank you to Ashatai, to which she replies, “go to hail.” These small encounters lead to laughter and increase the curiosity about ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’, which has already created a buzz owing to the unique concept of the film. The teaser ends with a comment in the background, “Mark my world, if the third world war takes place, it would be because of the maids.”

The film is written by leading writer Madhugandha Kulkarni, and produced by Madhugandha Kulkarni, Paresh Mokashi, Swapnil Joshi, Sharmishtha Raut, Tejas Desai and Trupti Patil. ‘Nach Ga Ghuma’ is being distributed across the country by Panorama Studios.

“We have received an overwhelming response to the poster, and promotional songs released over the last few months. The patrons have got a rough idea about the texture of the story. They have started enquiring as to when the film is going to hit the screens,” said producer Swwapnil Joshi.

Director Paresh Mokashi said, “The film is about womanhood and practices, customs related to it. We have woven many minute details related to the women in the script to ensure the uniqueness of womanhood is projected subtly. The story has accurately woven witty and daily life incidents in the screenplay to ensure entertainment, without touching the dignity of women. At the same time, it also highlights how women are a perfect blend of merit and emotions.,” he added.

Speaking about the making of the film, Madhugandha Kulkarni, said, “The film lovers that are eagerly waiting for the film to release are assured it to be a true entertainer and we have left no stone unturned to bring it into reality. It has come out to be a complete product on every front, be it entertainment, acting, music or direction.”

Producer Sharmishtha Raut said that the out-of-the-box story has been skilfully handled by director Paresh Mokashi with up-to-the-mark performances by talented actors.
