What happens when a con falls in love with his subject? Will he con her? Ian McKellan and Helen Mirren starrer The Good Liar is based on the similar lines. The makers released the trailer of the film today (June 27), which is set release in November this year and we must say it looks intense from what little we have seen. The two amazing actors are coming together for the first time and the trailer does all the justice to their chemistry.
Based on the popular and acclaimed novel by Nicolas Searle, the film’s story is about a conman who fools ladies. In the streak of conning women he meets a wealthy widow on a dating website. What begins as a straitaway con job turns out to be a puzzle. As the widow opens up her home to this con, will he still con her? Or change his mind? Watch the trailer to decide:
