An energetic, agile dancer Varun enjoyed his last dance drama , the Remo directed ABCD 2 and at every given opportunity expressed his desire to associate yet again in the forthcoming ABCD series.
Varun recently wrapped up the shooting of the Karan Johar production, the period drama Kalank starring Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha,. The casting coup of the film however were the two senior actors Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit Nene, who will be seen years together after their last Subhash Ghai film, Khalnayak.
Reportedly Varun, Remo, along with the producers Bhushan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza landed in the holy city today to start their next of the series, ABC3D.
Unfortunately Katrina Kaif , who was paired opposite Varun in the film opted out of the film recently to walk into her favourite Salman Khans production, Bharat. Speculation are rife that the makers are keen on Shraddha Kapoor or Sara Ali Khan to step in, but there is no confirmation so far.
In the meanwhile Punjabi actress, Sonam Bajwa, along with Remo’s two protégée’s, Shakti Mohan, who rose to fame after becoming the winner of Zee TV’s Dance India Dance Season 2, is currently a mentor at Remo’s dance reality show, Dance Plus and Vartika Jha, a contestant from his show are also part of the film.
Remo will also fly in International dancers to be part of his venture, the names are still under wraps, but the dance guru is sure to create dancing magic with this flick too.
