Varun Dhawan misses IIFA awards due to Bawaal!

Actor Varun Dhawan who was looking forward to performing with Salman Khan had to skip the IIFA awards due to the shooting schedule of Nitesh Tiwari’s film Bawaal. The actor who had attended the press conference of the IIFA early this year had said that one of his best memory was an impromptu gig with Salman Khan on the Judwaa song.

A source said, “Varun had to skip the award function as he is presently shooting for Bawaal in France. The IIFA got postponed twice due to which the actor’s date with Nitesh Tiwari clashed with the award  function but he wished IIFA awards the very best.”

The other actors who will attend Bollywood’s global award IIFA are Kartik Aaryan, Salman Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Farah Khan, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday. Siddharth Malhotra’s film Shershaah a film on the Kargil Hero Vikram Batra is leading the nomination with 12 nominations followed by Kabir Khan’s 83 and Anurag Basu’s Ludo with 9 and 6 nominations.
