Varun Dhawan’s Rannbhoomi put on the back burner – read details

In 2018, Karan Johar had created a lot of hype while making a big announcement about Rannbhoomi on Twitter. Yes, while Karan was producing the Varun Dhawan-starrer, Shashank Khaitan was directing the film. Later it was also reported that Sara Ali Khan was roped in as the leading lady for the film. However, there is another update related toRannbhoomi and it is not a happy one.

Recently, when director Shashank Khaitan was interacting with the media at the launch of singing reality show Dance Deewane he was asked aboutRannbhoomi. Talking about the film, the director revealed that he has putRannbhoomi on the back-burner. Well, it is indeed sad, for, the film seemed quite interesting. No reason has been revealed as such. During the announcement, it was also said that the film would release in Diwali 2020.
