Kangana Ranaut Ekta Kapoor fallout over Mental Hai Kya? Rangoli Chandel clears the air!

Kangana Ranaut and her comments are always in the news for some reason or the other. Known for her fiery attitude, the Manikarnika actress is making the headlines again. As we reported earlier, Kangana is now shooting for Mental Hai Kya with Rajkummar Rao. The film is produced by bigwig Ekta Kapoor. Both Kangana and Ekta are looked upon as strong-minded and confident women in the industry. It comes to us as no surprise when some reports emerged speculating a rift between the two powerful ladies. But now Kangana’s sister and manager Rangoli has come forward on social media to set the record straight.

Rangoli, who has always been vocal about her views and opinions, lashed at some reports that suggested inflated egos of Kangana and Ekta were coming in the way of the film as both of them are strongly opinionated and don’t shy away from voicing their views.  The particular report stated that the two ladies agreed to compromise at a point, avoiding an escalation of the fight. Rangoli came out strongly, asking people to use their time productively rather than talking rubbish about Kangana and maybe they would become better people and actors in the process. Rangoli slammed these reports saying – “Kuch log jitna waqt Kangana ke bare mein sochte hue bitate hain itna agar khud ke bare mein sochein toh shayad usse behtar insaan and actor ban jayein…. … no such thing ever happened on Mental sets ⁦⁦⁦@dna⁩ please don’t spread lies”

Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, Mental Hai Kya was initially supposed to release on March 29. But the makers have now pushed the release date to May. The movie also features Amyra Dastur and Jimmy Shergill in important roles. That’s not all! Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in Mental Hai Kya but the superstar doesn’t have a full-fledged role.
