Naah Goriye fame Swasti Mehul’s new song titled Betiyaan signifies the importance of girl child in a family

Singer Swasti Mehul, who is best known for superhit song Naah Goriye alongside Hardy Sandhu, Kiven Mukhde, and Chal Udd Jaayein among others, is currently garnering accolades for her new single Betiyaan – A song dedicated to Daughters.

Swasti shares, “The song Betiyaan, defines the trajectory of a girl’s life from her birth to marriage, fulfilling of her dreams, the support of parents in her life. I wrote this song with a hidden intention of raising awareness and the importance of girl child in the family. We see a lot of dreams get crushed due to lack of family support especially for girls because their parents are fearful of their safety and security.”

She further adds, “I am also from a conventional family, but my mother and family supported me whole heartedly. Such songs strengthen the family bonds and make an individual understand the value of family system and our roots.”

Talking about the kind of responses she is receiving she tells, “The song got instantly viral on Instagram and social media and has more than 1.5 Lakh reels in just a week of its release. I have written and composed this song, and each line is so relatable with every girl. Previously, I have also written songs like Papa Mummy which went viral. My songs on sisters have also been received so positively and is always on trend on social media. My signature song Bhai Behen Ka Pyar, has also been released under the Nav Records Music Label.”
