A glorious and successful first season later, T-Series Mixtape is back with its second edition. After a peppy and groovy number by Neha Kakkar and Guru Randhawa, the third episode of T-Series Mixtape Season 2, presented by Amazon Prime Music will make you reminisce your good old days. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, singers Neeti Mohan and Vishal Dadlani have collaborated to put together a beautiful rendition of the iconic songs ‘Chand Chhupa’ from the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and ‘Tumhe Apna Banane Ka Junoon’ from the movie Hate Story 3. The songs feature a heartfelt melody blended with numerous instruments such as drums, bass guitar, keys, piano, percussion, electric and acoustic, offering an audio treat. Adding their unique touch and right texture to the song, Neeti Mohan & Vishal Dadlani, deliver it with heart-warming vocals. Watching this duo create magic together will definitely take you back in time.

Talking about the song choices for this episode, Vishal Dadlani said, “For this episode, we have worked with some classic songs that we have all grown up listening to and loved. One of the songs is a classic called ‘Chand Chhupa’ from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Ismail Darbar, the music director of the original song is one of my favourites. So to be singing his song is an absolute honour. The other song ‘Tumhe Apna Banane Ka Junoon’ is also a classic song. These are songs you hum all the time.”

Commenting further on the concept of Mixtape, Neeti Mohan said, “I was a part of T-series Mixtape Season 1 and it was a grand success. I am very happy to be considered for the second season. The kind of mashups and collaborations we have done along with the comments and viewership, makes us believe that people are open to something out of the box. This gives us, as artists, more faith into believing that if you try something new, it could also be appreciated. Performing with Vishal Dadlani is always a pleasure and one of the songs we are rendering is ‘Chand Chhupa’, which I have grown up listening to. The way Abhijit Vaghani has mixed both these songs, giving them their due respect, is commendable.”
