Viacom18 Studios has released the trailer for the much-anticipated family film ‘Shastry Virudh Shastry.’ Starring the immensely talented Paresh Rawal in a stellar role along with Mimi Chakraborty who is known for her exceptional acting prowess in Bengali cinema, veteran and acclaimed actors like Amruta Subhash, Manoj Joshi, and Neena Kulkarni and Shiv Panditth, Shastry Virudh Shastry is directed by the talented duo of Nandita Roy and Shiboprasad Mukherjee is all set to release in theaters on the 3rd of November.
The storyline revolves around the seven-year-old Momoji, caught in a web of emotions, torn between his parents and loving grandparents. The central question that arises, “Who holds the moral claim?” serves as the crux of this compelling narrative. It delves deep into a subject that resonates in nearly every household but is seldom vocalised – the essence of parenthood and the extent to which the law should determine the fate of a child. As the story unfolds in the courtroom, it pits love against law, challenging viewers to question whether parents are always right, and in the court of love, who truly deserves to be the guardian. The emotional turmoil and powerful performances from the cast promise a riveting cinematic experience.
Viacom18 Studios has always backed strong and eclectic subjects and brought engaging narratives to every format of screens. With Shastry Virudh Shastry yet again boundaries will be pushed, and audiences will not only be entertained but also engage to delve on poignant and relatable societal narratives.
