Arijit Singh sang while Sonakshi Sinha and Kapil Sharma were at their casual best at Akash Ambani – Shloka Mehta’s wedding reception
Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s three-day wedding celebration saw a variety of stars as well as three well-known music artists. They had Hollywood musicians like Coldplay, The Chainsmokers performed at the pre-wedding ceremony in St. Moritz, while Maroon 5 had also flown to India to perform. Yesterday (11 March) singer Arijit Singh also performed at Akash and Shloka’s reception, where the bride and groom were seen grooving to his song.
Arijit crooned one of his most loved tracks, Janam Janam from Dilwale (2016). Many from film, politics and sports fraternity were invited to the wedding ceremony and the post-wedding bash. However, Sonakshi Sinha who couldn’t make it to the previous two functions was seen at the reception yesterday. Tamannah Bhatia and comedian Kapil Sharma with his wife Ginni Chatrath were also present at the reception. Akash and Shloka were seen wearing pink and red, respectively. Sonakshi donned a pretty beige saree looking all pretty, while Baahubali actress Tamannah Bhatia opted for a red lehenga. Newlyweds Kapil Sharma and wife Ginni Chatrath also looked picture perfect, Kapil wore a black suit while his lovely wife Ginni wore a green lehenga. Watch Arijit’s performance below
